A video titled "Hello, Chaoyang" was advertised on the Nasdaq screen in New York's Times Square recently. The video shows the urban image of Beijing's Chaoyang district, attracting lots of citizens and tourists from around the world to watch.

今年是朝阳建区 65 周年。站在新的历史起点，朝阳正在努力建设“宜居、宜业、宜商、宜学、宜游”的五宜之城。
宜居朝阳
建设宜居城市，好的生态环境是基础，也是首要条件。
朝阳区拥有丰富的生态资源，全区有158条大小河流沟渠，总长达400多公里。备受年轻人追捧的亮马河已实现了6公里通航，形成了1河2湖24桥的优美景观。
Chaoyang district has abundant ecological resources. There are 158 rivers and channels in the district, with a total length of over 400 kilometers. The Liangma River, which is highly popular among young people, has opened a 6-km waterway to navigation, forming a beautiful landscape of one river, two lakes and 24 bridges.
在绿网建设方面，朝阳区已建成大中小微型公园绿地800余处，全区城市绿地面积达1.6万公顷， 绿化覆盖率超48%。出门见绿、推窗是景，已成为朝阳群众的日常。
宜业朝阳
“栽下梧桐树，引得凤凰来”，朝阳拥有广阔的就业舞台，第三产业占地区生产总值高达93.9%，注册经营主体37.2万家，居全市首位。
为了鼓励创新创业，朝阳相继出台了《朝阳区创业工作实施办法》等一系列激励政策。2020年以来累计为1300余家小微企业发放创业担保贷款达9.35亿元，助力初创企业和小微企业在朝阳落地生根。
宜商朝阳
朝阳区有着亲商、重商的悠久传统。在今天，朝阳也是全市经济发展的主阵地。
Chaoyang district has a long tradition of being friendly to businessmen and valuing commerce. Today, it has become one of the key areas for the capital's economic development.
今年以来，朝阳经济持续 复苏。 截至4月份，完成固定资产投资304.9亿元，同比增长16.8%。
Since the beginning of this year, Chaoyang has seen sustained economic recovery. From January to April, its fixed asset investment totaled 30.49 billion yuan ($4.18 billion), up 16.8 percent year-on-year.
不仅如此，朝阳还是“两区”建设的重要承载地，北京数字经济核心区和全市营商环境创新示范区。 在全球商务区吸引力指数上,北京CBD排名全球第七,亚洲第二,中国第一。
宜学朝阳
目前，朝阳全区有幼儿园、中小学、职业高中共593所，在校学生33.85万，基础教育体量约占全市1/6。区内国际学校35所，占全市近40%，国际学生和外籍教师规模均居全市第一。
朝阳正在区内东部和南部地区布局建设北京中学东坝北校区、人大附朝阳学校南校区等学校，努力让每个孩子都能在家门口接受到优质教育。
The local government is building schools such as the Dongba north campus of Beijing Academy and the south campus of RDFZ Chaoyang School in eastern and southern Chaoyang, enabling every child to receive quality education in their own neighborhoods.
宜游朝阳
朝阳区是游客来京享受文化艺术之旅、品牌品质之旅、时尚消费之旅最佳目的地。
全区共有75家博物馆，80多家时尚书店，102个文创园区......特色文化空间在朝阳遍地开花。
朝阳累计引进各类品牌首店1588家，占全市近60%。此外， 全市 68%的黑珍珠餐厅、60%的米其林餐厅、41%的咖啡厅也都聚集在朝阳。
今年“五一”期间，北京接待游客总量912.8万人次，其中朝阳488.89万人次；朝阳文旅消费额达5.94亿，占全区总消费金额的77.59%。
